Upstate Medical University is a dynamic environment that brings together patient care,
education and research. We are one of only 125 academic medical centers in the nation,
and the only one in Central New York. We serve a 15,000-square-mile area (covering one
third of the land in the state) and we are Onondaga County's largest employer.
Every activity here is ultimately related to improving the health of the community.
