The Organizational Core Competencies were developed to reflect the philosophy of our organization's mission, vision, and values and are required for all University Hospital employees effective 10/1/02.
Each employee is expected to meet the appropriate organizational core competencies (Staff, Supervisor, Director, Nursing Director level, etc.). Organizational core competency assessment occurs in conjunction with the annual performance program and evaluation process.
The format in which the competencies were developed should be used as a template for all other competencies using the same validation criteria listed.
Supervisor Core Competencies ( Definition of Supervisor: Responsible for completing Performance Evaluations on staff (both Employees and Contract Employees).
Director's Core Competencies Definition of Director: Responsible for the implementation of the vision, mission, plans and standards of the organization within their defined areas of responsibility. The Director also contributes to the strategic planning process and day-to-day operations.
