Smoking Cessation at SUNY Upstate
Meet the Smoking Cessation Program experts
Cynthia is certified by the Mayo Clinic as a Tobacco Treatment Specialist. She is a registered respiratory therapist and a registered pulmonary function technician, and is Upstate’s smoking cessation coordinator. She has been employed by Upstate for 25 years. She provides work site programming for employers who would like to support their employees as they attempt to quit their tobacco use, and she also coordinates the FREE community wide classes sponsored by the Advocates of Upstate.

Kim Moore is certified by the Mayo Clinic as a Tobacco Treatment specialist. She is also a registered respiratory therapist and has been employed at Upstate for 13 years. She is the campus resource for employees, students and volunteers who would like help with tobacco cessation. She covers both the downtown campus as well as the Community General campus.
