Welcome to Hematology/Oncology
Hematologists/Oncologists have special expertise in diseases of the blood and cancer. They provide chemotherapy treatments and bone marrow transplants for cancer care. Problems of coagulation, anemia, and other blood disorders are treated with transfusions, phlebotomy, and iron infusions. Certain offices also treat other diseases that require infusional therapies.. The physicians are supported by Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Pharmacists, Social Workers, Case Managers, specially trained Registered Nurses and other support staff.
