February 25th Show: Pediatrician Leonard Weiner, board certified in pediatric infectious diseases, discusses childhood immunizations - from the new to the tried and true; and Susan Keeter, creative services director at SUNY Upstate, and co-author of and illustrator for a book on three women doctors in the 19th century with ties to CNY, talks about the spirit and skill of trailblazing women 150 years ago with Upstate medical students Signa Perkins and Twana Jackson, both of whom are Loguen Scholars. Sarah Loguen Fraser was an African American and is one of the doctors profiled. This segment recognizes February as Black History Month and March as Women's History Month.
