The Upstate Bariatric Program has received full accreditation by the American College of Surgeons Bariatric Surgery Center Network. The program was accredited as a level 1A center, the most complex level. Dr. Howard Simon explains what the accreditation means in terms of how the program is organized and conducted and what that means to the bariatric patient.
