Student Life Off Campus . . .
Upstate Medical University, along with its neighbors Syracuse University and the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, forms a dynamic hub known as University Hill. Our proximity to Syracuse University, gives our students and staff the opportunity to participate in the intellectual, cultural, social and athletic aspects of life at a large university. Many restaurants, nightclubs and shops are within walking distance of campus on "the hill" near Marshall Street, and downtown in and around Armory Square.
