Spina Bifida is a complex birth defect which may result in paralysis, muscle weakness, hydrocephalus, scoliosis, learning disabilities, abnormalities in bladder and bowel function, and other problems. The Spina Bifida Clinic provides a comprehensive management approach to children and adults with Spina Bifida and similar disabilities residing in 26 counties of central and northern New York.
The Clinic Team includes a Medical Director and a Clinical Nurse Specialist/Clinic Coordinator, and clinicians specializing in:
