The Lead Poisoning Resource Center provides treatment and follow-up for children
with seriously elevated blood lead levels.
The Center provides consultation
to health care providers in the management of lead- poisoned children and accepts
referrals for treatment. Families receive education about the adverse health
effects of lead poisoning and advice on how to prevent further exposure to lead
hazards.
