A full range of anesthesia services (including acute post-operative pain service)
is offered, with an emphasis on both safety and comfort for young patients undergoing
surgery or other procedures.
Parents are encouraged to be with their children
before and after surgery.
Consultations are offered to physicians and families
of patients pre-operatively, including those with special anesthesia concerns
(such as malignant hyperthermia, a genetic disorder requiring a specific anesthetic
protocol).
