University Hospital's Pediatric designated AIDS Center provides specialty HIV care for patients from infancy through 21 years.

Our dedicated staff offers comprehensive HIV care which includes clinical management of HIV case management, developmental testing, mental health assessments, treatment adherence assessment and counseling, nutritional counseling, appropriate referrals to community support agencies and assistance with transition to adult services.

Awarded Center of Excellence Designation

The Pediatric Designated AIDS Center at University Hospital has received a Center of Excellence designation from the New York State Department of Health for its patient care services and its dedication to providing psychosocial and emotional support for HIV patients and their families.
