This high school acoustic duo is from Fayetteville-Manlius High School. Joe Howe (lead vocals/rhythm guitar) and Todd Webster (lead guitar) have been writing and performing original material together since the summer of 2007. They have won various battle-of-the-band competitions. |
![]() Lou-Lou Lollipop Clown |
Laurie Michelman, aka Lou-Lou Lollipop, began training to become a clown in the summer of 2006. Inspired by her mother's struggle with and eventual death from cancer, she set out to become a hospital clown to provide loving relief to children and families during times of need. Laurie volunteers at Upstate University Hospital and Auburn Memorial Hospital, both visiting children in the pediatric units and appearing at special events. Laurie has also appeared as a clown and balloon artist at numerous fund-raising events and has worked with children at the Montessori School of the Finger Lakes, Absolute Dance Studio and other area organizations. When she's not clowning around, Laurie is a lawyer, assistant professor, and the mother of two teenagers. For more information: 315 224-3475 |

Located in an historic 'castle' in Syracuse, the Open Hand Theater is a professional repertory company that produces and tours original and classic works with grand-scale puppetry for audiences of all ages. The Theater has worked with children in arts and education for thirty years. Their International Mask and Puppet Museum has delighted school children throughout upstate New York. The Theater toured two award-winning productions in Russia and the US with Skomorokh Theater of Tomsk, Siberia, and has collaborated extensively with performing artists in central New York. Paul Robeson Performing Arts is one of the community outreach components of the Department of African American Studies at Syracuse University. Located in the heart of the cultural corridor at 805 E. Genesee Street, the Performing Arts center offers a gospel & Jazz musical ensemble, adult and youth theater ensemble, youth summer camp program, and an annual season of productions, events & workshops. The center's mission is to provide central New York with high-quality theater performances coming out of an African-American tradition while providing opportunities for performing and technical artists. The Signature Syracuse Jazz Combo consists of talented high school musicians who receive private lessons through Signature Syracuse and jazz performance opportunities throughout central New York. The internationally acclaimed Syracuse Children's Chorus has performed from Carnegie Hall to California to China, serving as Central New York's musical ambassadors to the world. Founded at Syracuse University in 1981 by Barbara M. Tagg, the Chorus is recognized for musical excellence and as a model for performance-based choral music education. The Chorus has received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, Meet the Composer, the Aaron Copland Fund, and Syracuse University and has been heard on National Public Radio's The First Art and Performance Today, as well as on international broadcasts in England, Hong Kong, China and Canada. Led by Upstate Medical University retiree Sharon Putney, the Upstate Choir is comprised of employees, students and volunteers. ![]() Voices Alive OASIS Choir |
Co-directed by Linda Verni Williams and Louise Sollecito, Voices Alive is one of the choruses offered by the OASIS Center at Shoppingtown Mall, Dewitt. The 65 member choir performs at nursing homes, clubs, senior centers, and libraries and holds an annual public concert at the Dewitt Community Church. |
