Elective Description
|
This is a two-week introductory course in sports medicine. Week 1 and the early part of week 2 is primarily independent study with a one-hour lecture daily. Students will have assigned readings. Students will be tested on assigned readings and lecture material. Week 2 is field-side coverage of the Empire States Games. Each student will participate in the medical coverage of the ESG hosted here in Syracuse. Students will be supervised by a senior resident or attending physician.
