New York Communities and Preceptors—Community of Ithaca

The city of Ithaca, has a permanent population of 29,000, which nearly doubles when Cornell Unversity and Ithaca College students are in session. The town is located at the southern tip of Cayuga lake and is known for its many parks with deep gorges and beautiful lakeside views. This has led Ithacans to proclaim, "Ithaca is Gorges ".

Preceptors	Hospital
The preceptor in Ithaca is Dr. Bruce Kuntz whose practice is located in Ithaca as part of the Guthrie Medical Clinic		Cayuga Medical Center is a 204 bed facility with med/surg, ICU, pediatric and OB/GYN services. It is located on the banks of lake Cayuga, several miles outside of Ithaca.
