Where the Free Clinic is Located

The Dr. Garabed A. Fattal Community Free Clinic operates in the Broome County Health Department Facility, which is just northwest of the Clinton and Front Street intersection. Once the Broome Co. Health Dept. finishes its normal workday at 4:30 p.m., our clinic staff takes over and begins registering patients for the Community Free Clinic. For those using public transportation, the Community Free Clinic is located on Broome County Transit Route #8.

Clinic Hours

Monday and Thursday evenings from 4:30 - 8:00 p.m.

There are two clinic sessions each week, every Monday and Thursday evening, except for holidays. If in doubt, you can check our current holiday closing schedule here. Patients are seen on a first come, first served basis. While registration begins at 4:30 p.m., the doctors do not usually start seeing patients until 5:00 p.m.

The weather does not always cooperate with our clinic schedule. If the clinic is forced to close because of inclement weather (such as ice, snow, floods, etc.), we will make every attempt to notify the public via local radio and TV stations. Check your local station's list of closings before coming to the clinic under questionable weather conditions.
