Lions Put "Crunch" on Fund Raising Efforts

The Lions of District 20-Y1 continue to roar as they develop a first-time fundraiser named Lions Crunch Month. With the help of the Syracuse Crunch, the Lions were able to raise a significant amount of money to help fund their $250,000 pledge to Vision 2000 (a campaign which benefits University Vision Care & Research Centers). Through Syracuse Crunch game ticket sales, and other prize drawing ticket sales at five games, the Lions worked throughout the month of February to continue their fundraising efforts for Vision 2000.

"The Lions should be commended for their hard work and support of Vision 2000," said John Zacharek, Vision 2000 Campaign Director. "Lions Crunch Month was a great success thanks to the work of the Lions Vision 2000 committee, especially Lion Bruce McClean. The dedication of each of these members truly demonstrates the spirit of Lionism."
