Continuing Support by The Lions of the Department of Ophthalmology

A generous check given to John A. Hoepner, Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology were Bernard Friedman, Treasurer and William Swyers, Club President
On March 14, 2005, the Department of Ophthalmology was given a generous check from the Syracuse Host Lions Club. Making the presentation to John A. Hoepner, Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology were Bernard Friedman, Treasurer and William Swyers, Club President. The money was raised through the hard work and dedication of the Lions' members.

PDG John "JR" Rusinko

A memorial remembrance was presented to Mrs. Peg Rusinko and has been displayed in the Lions District 20-Y1 Central Office at 550 Harrison Center
On August 24, 2002 the Department of Ophthalmology honored the memory of PDG John Rusinko for his Lionistic endeavors, especially the Vision 2000 project he started during his term as Governor. A memorial remembrance was presented to Mrs. Peg Rusinko and has been displayed in the Lions District 20-Y1 Central Office at 550 Harrison Center
