Phase III—Response to Each Recommendation

Through September 2007, Executive Council Sponsors are developing cross-functional teams to respond to each of the recommendations presented by the teams. There are close to 400 recommendations and strategies to consider.

For each recommendation, the sponsors will select one of the following actions:
  1. Move forward with the recommendation as written, using current resources.
  2. Request additional time for review, to provide an analysis of reallocation of existing resources and finances necessary.
  3. Advise that the recommendation should be implemented, but that it will require review by a cross-functional committee to identify operational and financial resources necessary for implementation.
  4. Defer the recommendation and cite the reason. (i.e. cost, staffing, etc).
Sponsors will present the responses for Executive Council approval and the administration will then create the financial allocation and timeline for implementation. Winter Public Forums will unveil this major potion of the Strategic Plan.
