ACLS for the Experienced Provider Course(One-Day)

This is a new and exciting ACLS renewal course offered by the AHA. The course is designed for physicians, nurses, paramedics and other healthcare professionals who have a current ACLS provider card and who are confident in their ACLS knowledge and skills. This course provides a stimulus for clinicians and scientists to identify areas in resuscitation that deal with special circumstances. The participantŐs ACLS knowledge and psychomotor skills will be evaluated without review. The primary focus of this new course will be case studies covering topics such as electrolyte imbalances, drowning, hypo/hyperthermia and others. This course is designed to broaden the scope of knowledge for experienced ACLS providers. The core course objectives are that upon successful completion of this course, participants should be able to utilize the ACLS algorithm approach to the primary and secondary surveys that is appropriate for every resuscitation attempt and expand beyond the ACLS algorithm approach into the 5 Quadrads.


This course presents all core material from the Textbook of Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
