Anne Reilley, a student in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program, was elected president of Upstate Student Government for 2013-2014. Anne said she wants to get the most out of her experience as a student, and serving as USG president will help accomplish that.

“It's exciting, especially since I'm going into my last year (of the three-year DPT program)”, Anne said. “USG is a go-to forum for student voices. Students can address issues, anonymously if they prefer, and their concerns will be brought to the administration.”

Anne, who has a master's degree in exercise science from SUNY Cortland, is the first student from outside of the College of Medicine to be elected to the one-year post. She also was one of 10 students chosen to give a presentation at Student Research Day 2013.
