Our Mission

• SUNY Upstate Medical University, as a public institution, is charged with improving the health of the community through education, research and patient care. Upstate employees formed the Faculty and Staff Association for Diversity to increase awareness of the contributions made by faculty and staff of color. This association, formed in 1997, is an initiative of the President's Diversity Enhancement Program.
