Career Advisory Network The Alumni Association has created
a Career Advisory Network for students to connect with alumni around the country.
The system is available on-line. If there is a certain region or specialty that
you are interested in, but not listed, the office will be happy to help you
reach out to alumni who may not be on the list. NATIONAL RESIDENCY MATCHING PROGRAM (NRMP) www.nrmp.org Information regarding the NRMP match and a list of all programs participating in the match. ELECTRONIC RESIDENCY APPLICATION SERVICE (ERAS) www.aamc.org/eras Most of the programs participating in the NRMP use the AAMC Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) for their applications. SAN FRANCISCO MATCHING PROGRAM www.sfmatch.org Specialty Matching Programs include Child Neurology, Neurological Surgery, and Ophthalmology. Applicants who are interested in registering for a specialty match should download the registration forms from the SFMP web site. The directories of programs are also on-line and are accessible from the SFMatch web site. AUA RESIDENCY MATCHING PROGRAM FOR UROLOGY www.auanet.org Application materials for the Urology Match are available on-line. Some programs use ERAS for the application process. You will find a list of accredited urology programs at the above website. FREIDA ONLINE (FELLOWSHIP AND RESIDENCY ELECTRONIC DATABASE ACCESS) www.ama-assn.org/ama/pub/category/2997.html American Medical Association FREIDA Online is a database containing information on approximately 7,500 graduate medical education programs that are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), as well as 200 combined specialty programs. CAREERS IN MEDICINETM www.aamc.org/careersinmedicine A four-phase course that is designed to assist you in understanding your options for choosing a specialty and selecting and applying to a residency program to meet your career objectives. Careers in Medicine can be used as a self managed course. Careers in Medicine uses a career development model that is widely-accepted throughout higher education.
