  • Wilderness Medicine at Weill-Cornell Elective. Two-week elective 9/29 - 10/12 and 10/13 - 10/25 available to third and fourth year medical students. Space limited. To enroll: http://www.nypemergency.org/residency

  • US-Mexico Border Health Scholars Program Univ. of Texas HCS San Antonio - South Texas Environmental Education and Research (STEER). Unique field elective at the U.S. - Mexico Border for students enrolled in U.S. MD/MPH, medical, public, and other heatlh profession degree programs. 4 week electives available at Laredo and Harlingen TX. Applications available in the Student Affairs Office (1223 WH), or online at http://steer.uthscsa.edu

  • NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF HEALTH RESIDENT AND MEDICAL STUDENT ELECTIVES
    Clinical Electives Program (CEP) Structured clinical electives and customized research electives for third and four year medical students (1-3 months duration). Applications available on a continuous basis and must be received three months before the anticipated start date: http://www.training.nih.gov

  • GLOBAL ELECTIVES FOR MED STUDENTS & PRE-MEDS with Child Family Health International. Spend 4 or 8 weeks working with local doctors in a variety of healthcare settings. www.cfhi.org
