The following information is an analysis of the Career Profile Questionnaire sent to the 2003 graduates.

Information was collected from 82% (84/103) of the graduates:

  • 88% Accepted full-time employment
  • 6% Returned to college full-time
  • 4% were still seeking full time employment
  • 2% were not seeking full time employment

Employment Stats:

The class profile indicated that 88% of graduates found full time employment. This is up from the employment rate of 83% in 2002. 6 percent of the graduates returned to college full-time, matching the 6% in 2002. The unemployment rate (those still seeking full time employment) of 4% is up from 2% in 2002.

What are They Earning?

The average salary of the 2003 graduates is $ 45,702 compared to $43,834 in 2002. The salary levels range from $30,000 - $80,000 as compared to 32,000 - $65,000 in 2002.

Where are they working?

Geographic patterns reflected that 82% of those employed full time accepted employment in New York State, down from 89% in 2002 and 18% chose employment opportunities outside of New York State compared to 11% in 2002.
