They provide hot nutritious meals for the hungry. To the homeless, they offer safe beds in their emergency shelter, clean clothes from their giveaway program and hot showers. The Rescue Mission has an incentive-based shelter where those committed to real life change can stay in an encouraging environment as they move forward toward success. They also have a transitional residence, where individuals learn money management skills and prepare to move back into the community, and a program that helps shelter-based clients to secure permanent housing.
