The College of Nursing participates in numerous student financial aid programs coordinated by the Financial Aid Office. The major sources of financial aid for students are the state and federal governments. SUNY Upstate also offers financial aid programs sponsored by the State University of New York, and scholarships provided by individual donors and private organizations. Programs and eligibility guidelines are described in the Financial Aid Handbook.

National Health Service Corps Scholarship
Program Provides
Payment of tuition and fees, books, supplies, and equipment for up to four years of education and a monthly stipend.
Qualifications
Must be a U.S. citizen and attending an accredited NP program.
Obligations
Must serve one year in health professional shortage area for each year of support.

Program Provides
Experience providing health promotion/disease prevention to medically underserved rural and urban communities. Weekly stipends of $300 plus travel reimbursement.
Qualifications
