MS—Education Minor Certificate

The College of Nursing offers students in the master’s program an option to minor in Education to prepare for a role as a nurse educator. Students who complete the minor receive a certificate at graduation. This nine-credit minor includes three courses:

  1. Nurse as Educator (required of all bachelor’s and master’s students)
  2. Curriculum and Program Development
  3. Educational Evaluation.
    (In Educational Evaluation, students work with a preceptor to gain experience in the role of educator)

All courses for the Education Minor may be completed in two semesters.
