The Edna A. Lauterbach Scholarship for New York State nurses

Money for New York State nurses!

This scholarship assists New York State nurses in furthering their education in pursuit of a career in home and community-based care.  Applicants can apply for scholarships up to $2,000 that can be used for educational expenses including tuition, books, specialty training and education, and other related costs. Applications must be received by June 1, 2009. Scholarships will be awarded in August 2009, in time for the Fall 2009 semester.

The Edna A. Lauterbach Scholarship Fund was founded by the Health  Care Providers Self-Insurance Trust, an affiliate of the New York State Association of Health Care Providers, Inc., which is New York State's leading trade association representing 500 home care offices across the State. The Fund is managed by the Community Foundation for the Capital Region, Six Tower Place, Albany, NY 12203.
