The Upstate University Hospital Community Campus Nutrition Services provides patients with the knowledge and tools needed to manage weight and address other nutritional concerns. Individual needs are carefully evaluated and a plan is designed that best suits health and lifestyle requirements. Our registered dieticians are committed to helping patients reduce their health risks and improve their quality of life through education, nutritional planning and lifestyle planning.

Office hours: By appointment.
Appointment times are based on individual necessity. Insurance coverage for the dietitian visit is determined by individual policies and medical diagnosis. A physician referral is needed for the initial visit.

We offer nutritional products, which provide high-quality, calorie-controlled options for weight management. Products are not covered by insurance. Follow-up visits with dietitian once per month while using the product is advised.

Nutrition Supplements

The Weight Management and Nutrition Center offers Optifast® and a variety of other nutrition supplements that can provide high quality calorie controlled options for weight management. An individualized meal plan provided by registered dietitians will illustrate how to incorporate these supplements into your weight management regime.
