Conditions and Procedures

Total Hip Replacement

Hip replacement is a surgery designed to help relieve pain, help the hip joint work properly, and improve walking and other movements. Your physician may recommend hip replacement surgery if you have hip pain or bone damage.

Damaged cartilage and bone is removed from the hip joint and replaced with a new hip joint in the surgery.

Knee Replacement

Knee replacement is a surgery designed to help relieve pain and allow patients to be more active. Your physician may recommend replacement surgery if you have chronic knee pain.

Damaged cartilage and bone is removed from the surface of your knee joint during the surgery and replaced with a new surface of metal and plastic. In a partial knee replacement, the surgeon replaces only one part of your knee joint.
