Charge/Function:
Function: In addition to any other functions specified by the Faculty Organization by-laws or by the parliamentary authority of the Faculty Organization or Council, the committee works in cooperation with the Deans' office to:
- Obtain schedules for review of department chairs and departments.
- Monitor the review process of chairs and departments to ensure that the reviews are carried out as scheduled.
- Serve as a committee to review and recommend action or changes in review schedules.
- Serve as an additional "independent" review committee as requested by a dean
- Serve as "ombudsman" for individual faculty vis-Ö-vis problems with reviews.
