Charge/Function:
The purpose of the Council is to meet on a regular basis to discuss academic issues and policies on campus and SUNY-wide and maintain open communication among the deans and administrators. This, in turn, enables each dean/college and/or administrator to coordinate and respond efficiently to faculty on academic matters. When appropriate, the Council may recommend action by the President.
