Dr. McNamara joined the Department of Family Medicine's faculty in 2007 immediately following her graduation from the St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center Family Practice Residency Program. While serving as Chief Resident at St. Joseph's Dr. McNamara served as a Practice of Medicine Intructor for SUNY Upstate Medical University. In May of 2004 Dr. McNamara was awarded the J. Garth Johnson Prize in Family Medicine. In 2006 Dr. McNamara participated in the National Conference of Family Medicine Residents and Medical Sudents in Kansas City, Missouri; she presented "Workshop in Gynecologic Procedures". Dr. McNamara also speaks conversational/medical Spanish.
