After a successful 20-year career as a full-time private practitioner, Dr. Kolva joined the faculty at the St. Josephs Hospital Health Center Family Medicine Residency Program as a full-time clinical teacher in the Model Unit. Dr. Kolva supervises the practice management seminar series and block rotation in the Residency Program. He has won several resident teaching awards since joining the faculty. Dr. Kolva was honored as the New York State Family Physician of the Year 2000 by the New York State Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Kolva also served as President, Oswego Family Physicians, P.C., Oswego New York, from 1984-2004.
