Dr. Edwards joined the Department of Family Medicine 1994. After working several years as a counselor, he attended SUNY Upstate Health Science Center for his medical training, then graduated form the St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center Family Practice Residency Program, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Edwards won the Herbert Lourie Award in 1991. He was awarded the Ernie Carhart Award for excellence in teaching and devoted support of the Family Medicine Residency in 2004.
