This program seeks high school students with excellent academic records. Preference will be given to those applicants who best fulfill the following criteria:
Because of their background and their interest are more likely to return to practice in underserved patient communities in New York State or otherwise can contribute to the student body's cultural understanding of patients in underserved patient communities
Have an excellent high school GPA from a strong college-prep curriculum
Have extra-curricular activities which document some experience in a healthcare setting and a commitment to service work
Have SAT scores of 1250 or better (combined Critical Reading & Math) or ACT score of 28 Composite or better
