The Office of Continuing Medical Education is a 20-year tradition at SUNY Upstate Medical University. We have a commitment to provide educational activities to health care professionals in formalized programs. The Office of Continuing Education serves the community by providing:
- Educational opportunities to enhance the expertise of physicians and other health care professionals.
- Opportunities for physicians and other health care professionals to share knowledge and research.
- A link to SUNY Upstate Medical University for alumni and for community-based
physicians and other health care professionals.
The Office of Continuing Medical Education is proud to be accredited by the
Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to certify educational
activities. The ACCME offers the service of voluntary accreditation to those
providers of continuing medical education who wish to be recognized for meeting
the highest level of quality. Such educational opportunities provide physicians
with the ongoing knowledge and skills they need to provide their patients with
optimum care.
