Judy, Ellie, and Lorraine will also be working on student papers/writing assignments from home this semester, via email. Christina will not have any face-to-face meetings this semester, all of her work will be from home, via email.
Guidelines
1. Students should make/cancel all appointments via email.
2. The assignment from the course instructor, as well as the draft of the paper/writing assignment should be emailed 1 – 2 days in advance of their appointment to the specific Writing Lab instructor they are meeting with (or to Christina if a face-to-face meeting is not needed).
3. Students may make an appointment with one of the writing lab instructors for assistance in planning a paper/writing assignment.
4. Papers, with “suggestions for improvement” will be returned to the student during their scheduled appointment or via email. The instructors have found these face to face meetings with the students to be the most beneficial, in terms of improving student writing skills.
5. Monday, April 16 is the deadline for drafts of papers to be emailed to the Writing Lab instructors. Appointments may be made up to the last official day of classes, Monday, April 23.
