Admission RequirementsProfessional Doctor of Physical Therapy ProgramAdmissions requirements include a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university including completion of 40 credits of prerequisite course work, first aid and CPR certification, GRE scores and volunteer or work experience in physical therapy. We encourage a variety of physical therapy volunteer experiences. Admission is based on academic achievement and personal qualifications that are considered essential for the successful practice of physical therapy. Interviews are required for all qualified applicants. Applicants with a minimum of 3.0 cumulative and prerequisite GPAs are considered for interview and those with 3.3 cumulative and prerequisite GPAs are given preference. Applications are reviewed on a modified rolling admissions basis from October through February. Applications Deadline is February 1. The prerequisite course work includes the following:
