He contributes often to the Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy Journal and is the author of several chapters in textbooks on cardiovascular and pulmonary physical therapy. From 1995-1997 Dr. Brooks served on the expert panel that drafted the cardiopulmonary practice patterns published in The Guide to Physical Therapist Practice. In the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program, he is currently teaching research methods and evidence-based practice, and assisting in cardiovascular and pulmonary PT.
