She was the first recipient of the SUNY Chancellors Award for Excellence in Teaching on the Upstate campus. Her areas of teaching expertise include selected topics in orthopedics, professional behaviors, imaging and management. Currently, she is a member of the New York State Board for Physical Therapy, an elected Delegate to the 2008 & 2009 House of Delegates of the American Physical Therapy Association, and is the immediate past president of the New York Physical Therapy Association. Dr. Miller has twice received the New York Physical Therapy Association Outstanding Service to Chapter award.
