MEDT 429 Clinical Microbiology I*

Course content includes clinical instruction and experience in various areas of microbiology to include theory, practical application, technical performance, and evaluation of procedures for isolation, identification and susceptibility testing of infectious disease organisms in humans. Lectures and individualized instruction at clinical sites and on campus are provided to correlate principles of clinical microbiology with the current laboratory techniques and practices used to detect and identify causes of infectious disease.
