MEDT 428 Clinical Chemistry II*

Emphasis is placed on performing both qualitative and quantitative assays that are less automated and more specialized in nature. Measurements are made on blood, urine and spinal fluid. Several of these assays require separation of analyte from its surrounding matrix making these procedures more time consuming and labor intensive. The student will develop their manual skills and use laboratory equipment not used in a more automated setting.
