Susan serves the American Society of Clinical Pathology on the Joint Generalist and Hematology Examination Committees for the Board of Registry. In addition, she is on the Editorial Review Board for Laboratory Medicine and a member of the ASCP Workshops for Laboratory Professionals Program Committee. Susan is involved in national workshops sponsored by ASCP and has presented in the areas of Morphology and Coagulation. In 2002, Susan was the recipient of the Regional Associate Member Award for ASCP. Locally, Susan is active in the Central New York Chapter of the the Clinical Laboratory Management Association. Having served as Chapter President and on the Board of Directors, she currently contributes as a member of the Education Committee and Web-site Coordinator. In 2007, Susan was selected as the CNY-CLMA Laboratorian of the Year.
