CVPR 360 Extracorporeal Life SupportThis course includes didactic and laboratory components. The students will receive instruction in extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) as well as ventricular assist devices (VAD) and their application in the clinical setting. Instruction will include fourteen 2.5 hour lectures and twenty-three hours of lab with hands on experience. The course is designed to lay a foundation for this area of specialized clinical practice.
