Aneurysm
Below
is a picture of a large aneurysm (ballooning) in the thoracic descending
aorta. The aneurysm measured approximately 55mm in length and 40mm in width.
It had apparently not ruptured and was not the cause of death.

The following is a close-up of the aneurysm in the thoracic descending aorta.

Also found in dissection this year was a distention in the ascending aorta,
a picture of which follows:
