Human Anatomy
Head and
Neck Radiology Resources
Dissection
gives the student a three dimensional view of the structures of the human
body. Knowledge acquired in the laboratory and in the study of cross-sectional
anatomy provides the student with an understanding of the relationships
between these structures. This understanding, in turn, allows the student
to read radiological images, whether they be x-rays, CT scans or MRI's.
Here you will have an opportunity to view images of actual human cross-sections
and MRI's taken at approximately the same level of the human body. Human
frontal sections of the head are also available here for your study. You
must be able to identify all the structures shown in this section.
