Dissection
gives the student a three dimensional view of the structures of the
human body. Knowledge acquired in the laboratory and in the study
of cross-sectional anatomy provides the student with an understanding
of the relationships
between these structures. This understanding, in turn, allows the
student
to read radiological images, whether they be x-rays, CT scans or
MRI's. Here you will have an opportunity to view images of actual
human cross-sections
and MRI's taken at approximately the same level of the human body.
Labeled frontal sections are also shown here. You must be able to
identify all
the structures indicated in these images.
