Abdomen & Pelvis Radiology Resources

Dissection gives the student a three dimensional view of the structures of the human body. Knowledge acquired in the laboratory and in the study of cross-sectional anatomy provides the student with an understanding of the relationships between these structures. This understanding, in turn, allows the student to read radiological images, whether they be x-rays, CT scans or MRI's. Here you will have an opportunity to view images of actual human cross-sections and MRI's taken at approximately the same level of the human body. You must be able to identify all the structures shown in this section.
