Does life start anew?
Do I wrestle with fallen stars,
my eyes peeking at the
break in clouds
where energy roars full speed
awakened
by the deep sleep
resting by the pull of tides
my horizon
painted in eclipse—

Do not speak to me of
long winters;
The leap of doe and the flight
of cardinal
I seep into your dreams now
I am the river creating new
territory
I rise before morning
and feel the pull of
crying owl, full moon,
the dissipating storm.
